We are excited to announce the release of the Optical Fluting Test 5.0, introduced as the most advanced Optical Fluting Test at the time, set new standards in fluting measurement. The OFT 4.0 version incorporated an enhanced algorithm for quicker and more precise wear analysis. A larger screen was added, improving the user experience, and it featured a historical analysis of the rolls that could automatically retrieve theoretical roll values.
Now, with the launch of the OFT 5.0, we have taken groove measurement technology to the next level. This latest version includes two remarkable features. First, it is equipped with an anti-dust mechanism, ensuring that the device remains accurate and dependable even in challenging industrial environments with suspended particles and dust. Second, an ergonomic handle has been added to enhance transportation, making it more comfortable and secure for operators.
It allows us to verify quickly and accurately the state of the flutes in the roll.
With a ±2.2µ accuracy in dimensional measurements and a ±0.01 accuracy in angle measurements can be obtained.
