The Latin American Association of Industrial Millers-Alim, was founded in Santiago de Chile in the year 1980, to bring together the entire wheat milling industry of Latin America. At present it gathers the 17 national associations of Industrial Millers nationals that serve almost all the industrialists of the continent.
ALIM annual assembly has become in the most important event of the Latin America wheat milling industry, where is analyze the situation, the medium term prospects, the technological advances, the opportunities and development of the derivatives market and the social and economic context.
As usual, this assembly is not only for wheat millers entrepreneurs and manufacturers of supplementary services but also the scientifics and technicians of the food industry, international trade experts, technology producers, agro-industry politicians and all those who are involved in this important food sector.
